I have been reading Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series these last couple of years and have always wanted to do a drawing pertaining to the series that I love so much.

Unfortunately, their faces just didn't turn out exactly as I've imagined they would of the characters of Richard and Kahlan. But I still like the drawing and am pleased with it.

Incorporated into this drawing is the Sword of Truth; the blade that Richard wields, while the lightning representing the rarest of powers a Confessor can wield; The Con Dar. And if anyone notices...I kinda made a heart shape using the sword hilt and lightning bolts to represent their love...Awww isn't that sweet ;) LOL

A drawing I did for a contest at :iconswordoftruthclub: It was the excuse I've been looking for to do a drawing of my favorite book series (and infuse a bit of fun ;) )

Thanks! I like how it turned out as well...Not exactly as I envisioned when I started out, but not the worst I've done ;)

wow, looks great :D Richard's arm's a bit too big and Kahlan looks older than I imagined her, but otherwise very good :) Amazing work on the shading and detail!

ya I know...this so wasn't one of my best works cuz I was rushing to get it entered for the contest. I do, one day, plan on taking my time and getting a pic done of those two done RIGHT by me;) But I am still happy with how it turned out Thanks for looking and commenting!

Thanks. I plan on doing another pic of Kahlan to take the time and get her just how I envisioned her. This pic is so not her....except maybe for the hair;) LOL

woohoo clap: Thank you:D The contest really was the perfect excuse for me to do up a Sword of Truth drawing. AND because I soooooo was not satisfied with the way Kahlan turned out in this one...I'm currently working on another SOT drawing with Kahlan the way I meant to draw her in the first place :D
