This is the background I came up with to compliment this dragon drawing I had finished earlier.
[link] Since the original dragon was a tattoo design for a customer and is currently in his possession and not mine, this background was done entirely separate from the dragon. I simply couldn't leave the dragon background-less
I scanned both images into the computer and put them together using photoshop. That was the only thing I used photoshop for; no other photoshopping was done to this image (except to adjust brightness/contrast so that it matched as closely as possible with the original drawings)
Materials used: Pencils 2H - 3B, Tortillion, kleenex, kneadable eraser.
Background original size: 12x11
Dragon original size: 23x13
