To Thank or not to Thank....

I've recently been reading how some folks don't like people 'spamming' their page with 'thank you's" for drawings/pictures they faved from a person's gallery.  So my question is this: Do you appreciate artists thanking you  on your page when you favourite one of their drawings/pictures/digital art etc or do you find it annoying and would rather that they not do that?  Leave a comment and let me know.  I certainly don't want to annoy people by thanking them for favouring my artwork.
